On November 9th, the Bureau of Agriculture of Yichang held a media briefing, announcing that its “1+9 Agricultural Information Service Platform” has formally been put into operation after the preliminary debugging. Users can enter the platform to browse relevant information; when registered, they can interact with the experts in the technological service system and release purchase and sale information in the rural supply and demand information release system. The platform, as a comprehensive one, is composed of 9 sub-systems: the agricultural science and technology service system, the farm produce quality safety system, the agricultural emergency command system, the agricultural IOT system, the farm produce e-commerce system, the agricultural geographic information system, the agricultural materials market supervision and comprehensive law enforcement system, the new agricultural business entities management system, and the agricultural and rural integrated supply and demand information system.
At present, the platform has been connected with the “four-in-one service” platform and covers 1414 administrative villages and 700 thousand farmers, its service objects including farmers, cooperatives, agricultural products processing enterprises, leading farmers and breeders and big consumers. And its service covers the whole industry chains, ranging from online learning of agricultural knowledge to interactive consulting, farm produce purchase and sale, agricultural supply and demand, farm produce quality safety supervision, and to the rural management.
