In this year, Yichang will focus on building “double twelve” safe tourism landscape greenways, namely, 12 urban recreational greenway systems and 12 tourist city greenway systems “along the waterfront, by mountains, between cities and sceneries, ”

Seizing the chance of building a self-driving travel base, Wufeng has drawn a blueprint of three-hundred-meter tourism strategy in Wuling, with global tourism as the core, and ecological landscape corridor as the axis. At present, the first-stage project of 351 ecological landscape corridors has been completed. Yuan’an has also planned to build a 56 km-long loop greenway for leisure and tourism, which consists of Hedang Road and three core scenic spots including Rokuonji, Mingfeng Mountain, and Jinjiawan. Currently, a 10-kilometer–long field marathon greenway from Jinjiawan to Mingfeng Mountain has begun to be built for the second International Field Marathon in the March of next year.
Based on the overall urban and rural demonstration zone in Xiaoya Road, the development axis in Yixing Yiling Road, and 6 rural tourism routes, Yiling area has planned to build eight tourist ecological landscape corridors , including "Hundreds of Xiajiang" "Field Pastoral’’ and " Three Gorges Tea Valley" .

Relying on the existing land and water transportation, the 12 Leisure Green Roads of the city will optimize the landscape along the line by equipping the line with scenery-viewing platform, temporary parking zone, sanitation facilities and related services so as to build the “Two Loops and Ten Belts”. The “Two Loops” refers to the suburban leisure landscape corridor loop with a total length of 183 km and the eco-tourism landscape corridor loop with a total length of 723 km, connecting cities like Dangyang, Zhijiang, Yidu, Wufeng, Changyang, Zigui, Xingshan and other peripheral cities.
