On November 11th, we felt a strong “Double Eleven” atmosphere in Yichang Yufu Tianxia Agriculture Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd., which had made a great fortune in this E-commerce campaign.
According to Zhu Daopeng, chairman of the company, their fruits ranked the TOP3 in the fruits section of “Double Eleven”, among which navel orange sold the best. To be specific, they made Zigui navel orange sales of 60 thousand single by 4 p.m. that day, and the quantity of the orders they would receive was expected to reach 80,000, with a total of nearly 350,000 kilograms, and their eggs’ sales occupied the first place in volume in the market of poultry and eggs. He said that their total sales were predicted to be around 8 million yuan on “Double Eleven”.
The reporter learned that Yichang E-commerce enterprises had done a lot of work in order to seize the E-commerce high ground, their efforts including establishing E-commerce commodity packing assembly line and utilizing webcast to attract customers, etc.. According to the statistics provided by the City Bureau of Commerce, every E-commerce enterprise made big profits on “Double Eleven”. And it was predicted that Angel E-commerce would reap 8 million yuan, Guomao Cross-Border E-commerce would reap 5 million yuan online and 1 million yuan offline, and the totals for Jilei Xiaojia, Juemiao E-commerce and Yiwo E-commerce would be 3 million yuan, 5 million yuan and 2 million yuan respectively.
The municipal government seized the opportunity to further promote the development of the local E-commerce by holding the 2016 Yichang Cross-border E-Commerce & Foreign Trade New Silk Road Cooperative Exchange meeting in Xiling District yesterday afternoon, at which Xiling Hi-tech Incubator Center was officially renamed as Xiling E-Commerce Industrial Park in order to give better play to the agglomeration effect of E-commerce enterprises and to provide better service to them. Besides, the relevant officials from Alibaba analyzed the future development of cross-border E-commerce and the head of Hubei “One Touch” analyzed the operation mode and big data of Hubei Foreign Trade Public Service Platform. And Angel and Qu Gu as local enterprises shared their successful experiences in cross-border E-commerce.
