On November 11th, from the Press Conference of Yichang Modern Husbandry on Green Development, the reporter got the news that “Three Beauty including making the ambient natural condition clean and lively, the breeding environment beautiful and harmonious, the animal products safe and delicious” on green husbandry would be launched in Yichang.
In recent years, municipal party committee and municipal government have paid much attention to the green development on husbandry and the unfavorable factors affecting the green development in agriculture such as the treatment and control of livestock and poultry breeding pollution, the disposal of dead and sick livestock and poultry without any harm, the precaution of plague and disease etc, the goal of which was to promote the green development on animal husbandry with the focus on deepening the structural adjustment on this project.
In accordance with the new-type functional orientation——“beef industry in the east, sheep industry in the west, dairy industry in the suburb”, the construction of  main producing areas of beef, sheep and milk cow should be quickened. Since 2015, six Yichang white goat storage fields and 20 improved breeding farms of flocks and herds have been built up in total, academician expert workstations for Yichang beef cattle and mutton sheep were established as well.
  The forbidden breeding areas, limited breeding areas and favorable breeding areas were divided in each county and each country one after another in order to solve the problem of breeding pollution effectively. Nowadays the “Three Areas” assignment have been completed in 14 cities and counties, 379 breeding fields were closed and removed，and 1577 breeding fields have started pollution control, the waste treatment coverage rate of large-scale farms has reached over 85% in whole city.
Besides, the harmless disposal work of dead and sick livestock was propelled in our city so as to assure citizens’ safety on tongue and avoid dead and sick livestock appearing on the table. At present, the 11 harmless disposal centers and 122 collection centers have been completed, the harmless disposal capacity annually reached 12 thousand tons. Since 2011, more than 410 thousand dead and sick livestock have been collected and disposed, the state, the provinces, the cities and the counties have granted the fund of 34.57million RMB for the harmless disposal and achieved the harmless all-collection, all-disposal and all-coverage of dead and sick livestock. 
According to the news, the animal husbandry development during these years has always been on the top place in Hubei province, the breeding base in Yichang annually produce 6.086 million pigs, 86 thousand beeves, 35.6 million poultries, 606 thousand tons meat output, 69 thousand tons eggs, 32 thousand tons milk output and the output value of the animal husbandry was up to 23.11 billion RMB.
