On November 18th, Ma Xuming, deputy secretary of Municipal Committee, mayor, came to the Traffic Police Detachment of Public Security Bureau to supervise team construction, intelligent transportation, etc. For the purpose of “leading in central of China, being national first-class”, he required to accelerate the construction of intelligent transportation, to escort the construction of Peace Yichang and Modern Meg City. 　　This year, the Traffic Police Detachment of Municipal Public Security Bureau is the first in Hubei province to be equipped with 20 escort motorcycles, and the latest batch of equipments will effectively improve the level of traffic management of Yichang. After visited mounted polices, Ma Xuming said, the traffic police of Yichang is the protector of public security and the image of the city. They should have first-class equipments and top qualities to guarantee first-class performance and image making the team a “name card” of Yichang.

　　Centering on the whole city’s economic construction, public security, convenience services, last year, the Traffic Police Detachment of Municipal Public Security Bureau invested more than 1 million RMB yuan to build convenience service vehicles which can act as mobile motor carriers bureau, weekends motor carriers bureau, and night motor carriers bureau to achieve one-stop integrated service management. In the convenience service vehicle, Ma Xuming learned the details about the service. He said that the convenience service vehicles is an important symbol of modern administrative services in Yichang, we should take the demand of the masses as the first signal, the people's satisfaction as the first standard, to constantly innovate the concept of service and the way of service.

　　In recent years, the Traffic Police Detachment of Municipal Public Security Bureau invested almost a lot of money, and they constructed 55 high-altitude monitors, 2200 road monitors, 14 digital service rooms, 16 highway prevention and law enforcement service stations, 260 sets of geomagnetic traffic flow detection equipments in 26 road junctions, which formed a intelligent traffic management system in center of "intelligent traffic management integrated application platform”, ranking high on the list of Hubei province. After knowing the operation of the system, Ma Xuming required that they must unswervingly take the road of police training, have advanced awareness, high starting point planning, high standard design, high efficient application, and constantly improve the of management intelligent road traffic.

　　The number of traffic accidents in Yichang has declined for 14 years consecutively, and traffic management work has ranked in the first place of Hubei province for 5 years. The Traffic Police Detachment continues 3 years won title of model unit for province’s safety production, and has been favorably awarded the city’s model unit for safety production for consecutive 11 years. Yichang Motor Carriers Bureau won the national excellent unit many times, and gained the first class merit as a team. Ma Xuming thought highly of their performance.
