(Reporter Bian Jianxin, correspondent Chen Xiaoying) On November 19th, Yichang extreme climbing gym opened, and the third round of Hubei Rock Climbing League (Yichang City) held in the gym. 50 rock climbing athletes participated in the race.

　　Yichang extreme climbing gym is located in one side of Yichang comprehensive training hall (Stadium Road). Introduced by Yichang sports center and established with social financing, it is the city’s first large-scale professional indoor climbing-themed sports hall, including indoor rock climbing, bouldering, SRT rope training and basic strength training projects and so on. Its climbing height is about 10 meter; at the same time, it can also be regarded as a youth hotel with outdoor themes.

　　Rock climbing, called “artistic gymnastics”, is an extreme sport which combines fitness, entertainment and athletics, which can cultivate physical quality and hone the will.
