Yesterday, the reporter learned from the Propaganda Department of Yidu Municipal Committee that on November 17th, HEC Pharm Co Ltd (01558.HK) won the “Listed Enterprise Award” in Hong Kong 2016 Annual Listed Enterprise Award Ceremony hosted by the “Bloomberg Business week/ Chinese version”.

　　Since it has been listed in 2015, HEC Pharm makes Kewei (oseltamivir phosphate) as its hit product, while develops vigorously other new products in therapeutic?areas of anti-virus, endocrine and metabolic diseases, cardiovascular disease and so on. Hence, the sales revenue of this company increased by 57% in 2015 and by 45% in the first half of 2016. Then the compound annual growth rate reached 48%. As a private pharmaceutical company listed for less than a year, HEC Pharm has been recognized by all sides in the market.

　　Up to November 18th, the total market value of HEC Pharm Co Ltd has amounted to 7.85 billion Hong Kong dollars, ranking the 24th among all 95 listed pharmaceutical companies in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, its Rate of Return on Common Stockholders’ Equity, i.e. its profitability index, is 9.69%, which means it is among top 10 Hong Kong pharmaceutical companies.
