Yichang’s High Quality Agricultural Products Sell well in Beijing

On December 8, the Promotion Conference of Yichang’s High Quality Agriculture Products was held in Beijing Xinfadi Agro Wholesale Market, the largest in China. Purchasing Agreement of fifteen tons of oranges was reached on the spot, which is worth 0.3 billion RMB. Wang Guobin, Vice Mayor and member of Standing Committee of Municipal Committee, attended the conference.
There were 32 enterprises in the conference and more than 120 kinds of high quality agricultural products were displayed.
Yichang’s high quality agricultural products are increasingly welcomed by Beijing residents in recent years, which have been expanding its market. According to our statistics, more than 300 products from 60 enterprises in Yichang have been displayed in wholesale markets and supermarkets in Beijing, contributing an annual turnover of more than 1 billion yuan.
Having been ranked the first in agricultural wholesale market around China for its business amount for many years, Xinfadi Agro Wholesale Market is the biggest “vegetable-basket” and “fruit tray” in Beijing, which occupies over 70% in Beijing’s overall vegetable supply and 80% as for fruits.
