149 High- Quality Grain and Edible Oil Chain Stores Established in Yichang

On September 8 , from the press conference named “Bringing High Quality Grain and Oil Chain Stores into Thousands of Households”, which was held by the Municipal Grain Bureau of Yichang, the public are informed that the efficient management system of producing and selling the high quality grains and edible oil products has been basically formed in Yichang. It is a regional prefecture-level company of Hubei province, containing 10 distribution centers, 149 chain stores (including 28 stores in urban area and 121 shops in the counties). Thus the aim of establishing a net which covers the high quality grain and edible oil chain stores has been fulfilled.
According to the introduction of Li Guiju, the vice director of the Municipal Grain Bureau of Yichang, the installations of the stores, which sell high quality grain and edible oil products, have followed the concept that the one store should be arranged for every 30,000 of people in the urban area and one county should be equipped with one store. At the present, 149 chain stores have begun operation as scheduled. The management system of high quality grain and edible oil chain stores is operated on the basis of “six unifications” which means same store symbol for dynamic management, unified delivery for high quality, unified products promotion activities for classified management, unified price cutting activities for incentive measures, unified yearly checking for integral transform management and unified service regulation for self-discipline management. Meanwhile, not only should the duty security system of stocking and selling be implemented but also the specialized bills of sales should be made, which can guarantee the processing and circulation and consumption be well documented.
How to ensure the quality of the products sold in the high quality grain and edible oil stores? Li Guiju said, Municipal Grain Bureau of Yichang will carry out quality inspection regularly or irregularly to ensure the residents’ access to the high quality grain and edible oil products. Besides, the Municipal Grain Bureau, together with the Three Gorges Food and Drug Inspection Center and Food, FDA and other units, has founded informants’ hot-lines, carrying out spot check on the products sold in those stores. The Yichang Company of Hubei Jing-chu Grain and Oil Company implements the on-site inspection on the operation network of the high quality grain and edible oil products every quarter. The yearly assessment will be based on the evaluation results and those unqualified shops won’t be allowed to sell the relevant products. The market network system of the high quality grain and edible oil products has carried out the sampling inspection more than 10 times in 2016. And the result has turned out that the products are of good quality without any heavy metal pollution and excessive pesticide residues.
