On December 22, Wang Dong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Beijing Enterprises Group Co. LTD, visited Yichang with senior members of the company and signed a strategic cooperation frame agreement with Yichang. The agreement indicates that Beijing Enterprises Group Co. LTD will invest no less than 10billion Yuan to cooperate with Yichang in the field of principal infrastructure construction, city planning, city gas distribution, water affairs in the city countryside and water governing and solid waste recycling economy. Zhou Ji, Secretary of Municipal Party Committee, and Ma Xuming, Vice Secretary of Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, met with Wang Dong and his party.
Ma Xuming said that he was appointed by Secretary Zhou Ji to appreciate Beijing Enterprises Group Co. LTD on behalf of the municipal government for their long-term support to Yichang. He pointed that Beijing Enterprises Group Co. LTD with advanced idea, rich experiences and solid strength is regarded as the favorite partner by many cities, since it is the pioneer in both infrastructure and public utilities in Beijing. The agreement between Beijing Enterprises Group Co. LTD and Yichang is of great importance to boost supply-side structural reform, consistently promote people’s livelihood and make Yichang an eco-city. He said that he hopes both party will cooperate to make the plan practicable and he also stressed that both party should discuss the agreement in detail and formulate a series of projects to ensure great benefits soon. Yichang will make efforts to optimize its developing environment and provide high-quality personalized service to ensure excellent developmental environment for Beijing Enterprises Group Co. LTD.
Wang Dong gave praise to the favorable environment, rich history in Yichang and the down-to earth working style among all the leaders here. Based on strong capital and regnant system, he said, Beijing Enterprises Group Co. LTD will apply the advanced idea, technology and commercial to projects to create a model of government and enterprise cooperation.
According to the agreement, Beijing Enterprises Group Co. LTD regards Yichang as a core region of its strategic investment and expand Yichang’s integrity investment platform. Meanwhile  the company will take part in principal infrastructure construction, city planning, gas distribution, water and sludge dispose, integration of sanitation, solid waste recycling economy, utility tunnel and endowment, for which we can level up Yichang’s infrastructure and integrity service to build it a livable eco-city.
