On December 22, a cooperative development agreement about the permanent site of Chinese CFO Forum has been formally signed by China Finance & Economy Media Group and Yichang Urban Construction Investment Holding Group, which marked that the development and construction of “iValley” project whose investment was 8 billion RMB was launched in an all-round way.
According to the construction plan, the permanent site of Chinese CFO Forum was to build four sections consisting of the permanent site area, high-end think tank area, customized headquarters area and supporting service area to create six industries, including conference and exhibition, finance and economy & think tank, film and television & media, education & training, culture-oriented tourism and ecological residence. After the completion and operation of this project, it would rely on the new generation information technology represented by mobile Internet, cloud computing, big data and the Internet of Things to promote the development of information industries such as “cloud financial affairs”、“cloud finance”、the exploitation of financial software, etc., build the first trading center of nation-level capitals in China’s inland areas, create the monitoring platform of the economic prosperity in Yangtze River Economic Zone and publish the economic index of Three Gorges.
Covering an area of 1300 mu, this project would be completed in three years through stage-by-stage construction and step-by-step implementation. The authorization of project, establishment of cooperative companies and construction of the project launched by Yichang Urban Construction Investment Holding Group would be finished in the end of 2016, the annual summit of the CFO forum in China would be held in this area in 2018, while the capital market owning special assets would be formed in 2019 to develop cloud services, and the town with treasure and wisdom would be basically completed in 2020.
It was known that the Chinese CFO Forum, which was called the “Three ivalleys” together with the Forum in Davos, Switzerland and Boao Forum for Asia, was an authoritative open platform set up to carry out global financial activities for CFOs in global large-scale enterprises, financial groups and government financial officers. On June 8, 2016, Yichang Urban Construction Investment Holding Group was appointed as the construction unit to build the site.
