Annual Passenger Throughput of Sanxia Airport Exceeds 1.5 Million
The annual passenger throughput of Yichang Sanxia airport exceeds 1.5 million with the landing of Hainan flight MU7110 from Beijing at 15:00, Dec. 23.
It is known that this year saw the largest number of new domestic and international air routes at Sanxia Airport. For domestic routes, six new destinations include Lanzhou, Fuzhou, Hohhot, Wenzhou, Jinan and Xining; while there are four new direct international routes to Seoul, Xiangyang, Cheongju and Daegu of Korea. International passenger throughput exceeds 30,000, a new record in history. Sanxia airport have successively introduced Fuzhou Airlines, Chang’an Airlines, Asiana Airlines, Jin Air and Eastar Jet to operate routes and the route number has reached 28 till now.
