On December 23, Sugon urban cloud partners’ meeting was held in Yichang, attended by Sugon cloud partners from 30 cities around the nation. Smart Yichang construction was promoted as the best practice mode to other cities throughout the country.   
It’s reported that Sugon first compiled data of our city in 2009, which marked the beginning of smart Yichang construction. At present, the big platform of the bottom-supporting smart city was in the leading role, and every application in platforms such as fire cloud, medical cloud and education cloud docked fast with each other. It’s estimated in the first half of next year, the second phase of the Three Gorges Cloud Computing Center Project (and Yichang Operation Center) will have brought in Yichang 12345 Citizen Calling Service Center, Intelligent Old-age Service Center, Intelligent Parking Command Center, Grid Supervision Center, Urban Supervision and Command Center, Big Data research operation center and other government units, in order to create the most credible, convincing and visualized smart city operation center in Hubei Province  and even in central China. “The top design of Smart Yichang construction started early in this country, so the establishment of the application platform met the standards of rationality and procedure when building a smart city.” Chinese Academy of Sciences will set up Sugon Smart City Research Institute, not only connecting the industry with innovations of Chinese Academy of Sciences, but also forming the professional R&D team to promote the “Yichang Mode” to the whole nation.
