Since last year, Yichang has been greatly prompting its tea industry, publishing On Promoting Tea Industry Transformation and Upgrading and Building Powerful Tea Industry City and setting up a leading group to develop tea industry city. Under the requirements of certified tea seed, gardening layout, stereoscopic planting, organic fertilizer, mechanized tea-picking and green prevention and control, Yichang has accelerated the construction of standard tea plantation and key bases, carried out “double top ten” construction of green prevention and control over tea leave diseases and insect pests, and built demonstration areas. Besides, Yichang also organized agricultural technicians to go deep into fields to guide accurate prevention and control. With chemical planting pattern changed and prevention and control leveled up, tea farmers have gained more.
