2 Successful Test Run of Xintong Cable Production Line

On Jan. 19th, in EHV cable production workshop of Yichang Xintong Cable co., LTD in Xiaoting district, workers were testing a new 110 KV high-voltage cable whose section covers 1600 SQMM. On the same day, the first high-voltage vertical cable production line passed its test run successfully, and will gain an annual production value of 0.75 billion yuan after 3 lines are put into operation.
Yichang Xintong Cable co., LTD comes from Yichang Lianbang Cable co., LTD. Under the arrangement of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government since last year, Xiaoting district kept on the idea of “bankruptcy before building, attracting investment and meanwhile going bankrupt”, with officials leading the arrangement and highlighting key points to tackle, promoting reorganization of broke enterprise legally. Finally, auction for Yichang Lianbang Cable co., LTD was successfully obtained by Yichang Xintong Cable co., LTD, which has the share of large state-owned enterprises like Chang’an Trust United with Central Enterprise Changjiang Elec. Tech.
Since the management group arrived in Aug. 8th last year, this company mainly worked on utilities, equipment inspection maintenance, qualification for production, staff employment, real estate and asset transfer, busy with organization and promotion, solving more than 10 critical problems. After more than 50 days’ effort, on Sept. 30th, 12 machines in “workshop A” in one plant officially came into test production, including wire drawing, wire twisting, cabling, insulation and making complete set. Machining equipment in “workshop B” also came into production, realizing test production for LV/MV cable before the National Day. At the end of last December, all inspection maintenance for “workshop A” was finished and auxiliary equipment was available to produce LV/MV cable. Since this January, 1 KV, 10 KV series and 110KV cables have been put into operation successfully again.
It is known that Yichang Xintong Cable co., LTD will prepare for test production of 220 KV cable on the basis of producing 110 KV cables as planned. After the Spring Festival, the company will produce 500-750 KV EKV, EHV cables after test run, and occupy the advantage in cable industry. The 110-500 KV submarine cable program has already started and will hopefully come into production within 2017. At that time, Yichang Xintong Cable co., LTD will become a comprehensive manufacture for LV/MV, HV, EKV, EHV and submarine cables.
