1.93 million people came to Yichang to visit and travel

On February 2, the reporter learned that during the 7 days of Spring Festival holiday, our city received a total of 1.9345 million domestic and foreign tourists, with a yea-on-year growth of 20.19%; and the total tourism income amounted to 834 million yuan, with a yea-on-year growth of 26.56%.
During the Spring Festival, a number of scenic spots of our city combined the local ethnic customs with folk culture and launched a series of colorful activities, so that “the Chinese New Year atmosphere” returned. In the Qingjiang Gallery, the original Tujia singing and dancing performances definitely met nearly 50,000 visitors’ longing for “folk-customs”.
During the Spring Festival, Yuquan Temple received 118,000 tourists, 54,000 of which were received just on the first and fifth days of the first lunar month.
In the 7 days of the holiday, people faced difficulty getting a ticket in the Bailihuang Scenic Area. Skiing in a world of ice and snow and sitting around the stove to eat alpine lambs is indeed a kind of special experience which greatly attracted tourists.
