On February 6, the reporter learned from the Yichang Municipal Bureau of Commerce that the General Administration of Customs issued the "The 13th-Five-Year” National Ports Development Plan.Both theYichang airport and the harbor in Yichang have been included in the Plan, respectively as the expansion and newly-open port projects, which marks that Yichang has earned the national policy support in terms of the opening of the ports.

　　It is learned that the expansion project of Yichang Three Gorges Airport has successfully passed the provincial-level examination. Its grade index in flight area will be enhanced to 4E level. After the completion in 2020, it can receive 3 million passengers, transport 15,500 tons of cargoes and arrange 34,103 flights per year. As the only management unit of the Yichang Harbor, the Yichang Harbor Group-Yunchi Co. Ltd. has been making full use of the unique geographical advantage to expand its container market and improve the efficiency of customs clearance, thus its handling capacity ranking the second in Hubei Province.
