On March 16, from the Citrus Association of Zigui County, the reporter learned that recently the brand of “Zigui Navel Orange” was recognized as China famous trademark by Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry & Commerce, which was another laurel for “Zigui Navel Orange” after its winning the “National Geographical Collective Trademark”.

　　As the hometown of the navel oranges in China, Zigui was the demonstration county of the production area for national pollution-free oranges and green food (citrus) with its over two-thousand-year history of citrus planting. With the unique Xiajiang microclimate environment and relentless technical research and development for many years in Xiajiang County, Zigui had more than 100 varieties of fresh oranges, 0.3 million mu of the large-scale planting area of navel oranges and more than 0.38 million tons of the yield, forming a industrial pattern of Lunwan (a kind of orange ripening in the last twenty-day of March) in spring, summer orange in summer, Jiuyuehong( a kind of orange ripening in September) in autumn and Changhong Newhall navel orange in winter, and thus making Zigui become the only citrus-producing area capable of supplying fresh oranges in the whole year.(Journalist: Pi Yajie; Correspondent: Cui Yu)
