On March 15, the Eighth Cycling around Balizhou of the Yangtze River has been open for registration. This bicycle race will be jointly hosted by China Cycling Association (CCA), Hubei Administration of Sports and the People's Government of the Yichang City, and co-organized by the Yichang Administration of Sports and the People's Government of Zhijiang County. The race will be held on April 8 and 9 in the urban area of Zhijiang County and Bailizhou Town of Zhijiang County respectively.

　　It is learned that all participants will be divided into four groups: Men’s Open Group, Men’s Age Group A and B, and Women’s Open Group. The maximum number of the participants in Women’s Open Individual is 100; the maximum number in other three groups is 200; and the number of participants in each team of Men’s Open Group is limited between four and six. However, there is no limit of participants for the National Fitness Group. Either registering as an organization or as an individual can be accepted in this race. The top 30 members of each group will be given the corresponding bonus; at the same time the participants among the top 50 as well as the groups among the top 20 can be given the corresponding points accumulated.
