2017-04-14 16:11:22

The provincial tourist work conference and training course opened in Jingzhou on March 28, during which ten new 4A scenic spots in Hubei province were awarded plaques. Two scenic areas in Yichang, the three gorges wetland and Yang Shoujing Academy and the Yichang Bailihuang prairie, were on the list.

Located in the Gao Bazhou Reservoir of Yidu, where the Yangtze River, Qingjiang River and Yuyanghe River meet, the scenic area of three gorges wetland and Yang Shoujing Academy is an important item of cultural tourism of the Tianlongwan national wetland park in Yidu and it was awarded the national 4A scenic spot on June 20, 2016.

Featuring the natural landscape of desolate grassland, the Bailihuang prairie is a unique primitive ecological scenic area characterized by belated spring, cool summer, premature autumn and cold winter. It was awarded the national 4A scenic spot on December 30, 2016. (Journalist Zhang Yuxin)
