The Wufeng Spring Tea & Tourists Festival, which invited guests to feel the Tujia tea culture while tasting the local tea, enjoying tea art and experiencing the traditional tea production technique, opened in Qing gangling, Yuyangguan on April 1st. Various unique activities related to Tujia tea culture were shown at the festival, attracting many local people and tourists.

　　The festival began with inviting a tea god ritual, which was a long cry meaning “meeting the tea god” of Wan Hong, the county magistrate and Deputy Secretary of the CPC Wufeng Tujia autonomous region. To show the rich Tujia folk-custom, hundreds of Tujia pretty boys and girls served Guan guan tea, gave tea-sifting dance, and delivered a tea fairies runway show. At the same time, the audiences were intrigued by frying, processing, brewing and tasting tea on site. A series of activities, which kept the festival going even more fervently were as follows. “China's Top Ten Charming Tea Township” and “Wufeng Green Tea” were granted Chinese well-known trademarks; the demonstration plot of national tea brand started to be constructed; the show Walking among the Charming Tea Townships made by CCTV launched its shooting; the routes of Wufeng spring road trip was also released.

　　Hubei Mabang Self-driving Tour, Wantan River Cross-country Challenge and other activities would be carried on during this Tour Festival.
