Yichang Hi-tech Sub-branch affiliated to the Construction Bank of China held the unveiling ceremony on April 18, marking that the first High-tech Bank specifically serving scientific and technical innovation in Yichang was formally established. Its establishment is a landmark event and will be of great significance in promoting the development of sci-tech finances well as the cooperation between industry and finance.

　　At present, there are 329 high-tech enterprises in Yichang: 70 municipal-level small and medium-sized high-tech pilot businesses; 26 business incubators, covering an area of more than 600thousand square meters; 500incubating enterprises. Thus, a large number of enterprises and projects featuring high technology, great potential and enormous driving force have gathered together and become the backbone of economic development and technological innovation in our city.

　　At present, the thorniest problem for these high-tech enterprises is financing. Therefore, the acceleration of scientific and technological innovation requires the involvement of financial services in an all-round way. It is understood that as the first high-tech bank in Yichang, Hi-tech Sub-branch will design applicable financial products for high-tech enterprises with different needs, make full use of related policies, and play the role of demonstration, so as to make contributions to the implementation of "The project of increasing high-tech enterprises" and "SME growth project".

　　It is reported that in the next five years, Yichang will make great efforts to promote the implementation of “The project of increasing high-tech enterprises" and "SME growth project", strive to found more than 600high-tech enterprises by 2020, and make the added value of high-tech enterprises rise to more than 130 billion yuan.

　　At the opening ceremony, Three Gorges Hi-tech Sub-branch affiliated to the Construction Bank of China signed cooperation agreements with Yichang Hi-tech Zone, Yichang Sci-Tech Bureau, Yichang Hi-tech Zone Incubation Center and Heyi Incubator, and representatives from the enterprises.
