After being debugged for two months, “Yichang Parking Finder” WeChat official account has been officially launched on Apr. 27th. Only by following the official account can the citizens find vacant parking spots and pay the parking fees on the WeChat.

　　This WeChat official account can help drivers find the vacant parking spots already included in the “Smart Parking” system at any time. If drivers want to find vacant parking spots in their surrounding area, they just need to open the homepage of the WeChat, click “My Parking Spot” and enter the destination to search for the vacancies. After finding vacant parking spots, they need click “Select the Parking Spot” and type their cellphone numbers and verification code numbers to confirm the parking spots. After parking their cars, they can click “Pay the Parking Fee——Scan for Payment” to pay for parking on the WeChat, Alipay and other the third-party platforms. In the meanwhile, drivers can always keep a close watch on their parked cars via the official account at any time.

　　It is reported that 170 (planned 800) parking lots in Yichang have already been connected to the “Yichang Parking Finder” WeChat official account, mainly in the Xiling District. The “Smart Parking” system under construction will upgrade the parking spaces. Each of them will be 6 meters long, 2.5 meters wide, and has an identification number, which will effectively improve the efficiency of public parking.
