From April 21st to 24th, Yichang Municipal Commission of Tourism Development held an activity named "Transnational CPs Fall in Love with Yichang", in which eight "transnational CPs" consisting of eight most popular “online celebrities” voted nationwide by Sina Web (Hubei branch) and eight foreign friends took part, enjoying Yichang’s landscape and its distinctive culture.

　　It is reported that those foreign friends were from the United States, Britain, Kazakhstan, Poland, Russia, Indonesia, Congo (Republic of the Congo) and so on. Some are popular guests of famous local talk show, some are players who have attended the Britain's Got Talent, and some are internet celebrities at both Chinese and foreign social websites. During this activity, they had a guided tour to the Three Gorges Dam, Three Gorges Tribe, Qu Yuan’s Hometown, Xiling Gorge, Chexi and other scenic spots.

　　While wandering around the landscape, these "transnational CPs" , read Qu Yuan’s poetry and appreciated Chinese classics in Han Chinese clothing, learned to make rice dumplings from local people face to face, learned calligraphy, and participated in canyon bungee jumping and other activities. Zuoyou, an American tourist who had participated in global cultural programs many times, shared his feelings on microblog and Twitter: "Yichang is so beautiful that I will never forget."

　　The "Transnational CPs Fall in Love with Yichang" is a new trial of Yichang Municipal Commission of Tourism Development in the international tourism market with the aim to tell netizens around the world that Yichang is a good place with word of mouth on the new media platform from Chinese and foreign guests after their own experience.
