Last weekend, Yichang saw a batch of “white-framed bike” – Hello bike on some streets. Four kinds of public bikes, complete with the existed public bike, mobike and ofo bike, are accessible to most residents of Yichang.
Hello bike is mainly operated in those second-tier cities, aiming at the minorities then entering services into major cities. Up to now, Hello bike has entered several key cities including Suzhou, Ningbo, Xiamen, Hangzhou, Fuzhou, Changsha, Nanjing and Wuhan.
The reporter has been informed that the QR code is printed on the body, the handlebar and the safety lock of a bike. The safety lock can open automatically once you scan the QR code with your phone. If you want to return the bike, what you should do is press down the lock batch and connect the clamping ring. Then the charging is finished as well. The whole process of locking can be fulfilled without any cell-phone operation.
As for the charging of Hello bike, it is closely related to the bike users’ credit. Every new customer has 100 points of original credit points. One more point can be obtained every time you use the bike of Hello bike. Those who have more than 80 credit points are supposed to pay one RMB for every 30 minutes on the condition that they return their bikes in the designed operation areas. Twenty points would be deducted if the customers’ illegal parking is investigated and verified. If the credit point is less than 80, 100 RMB would be charged for every 30 minutes’ usage of the Hello bike.
At present, how many bikes such as Hello bike and ofo have been put into operation in Yichang? According to the introduction of the relevant executive of the Hello bike of Yichang, 3,000 new type of Hello bike ofo are accessible in those pedestrian-concentrated areas like CBD, Binjiang Park and Yiling square. About 7,000 bikes of the first stage would be put into use within the coming week. Besides, after the analysis of the operating frequency, cycling route and relevant data, up to 25,000 Hello bike are supposed to be available in Yichang.

In February 2017, the bike-share emerged in the urban area of Yichang with 700 bicycles and 700 lock studs operating from 28 stations for the first stage of this project. The number of locking docks of each station range from 20 to 30. And the largest station, including 60 locking docks, is located in Moji Mountain.

The “yellow-framed bike” entered Yichang on April 9 with approximately 10,000 bicycles operating over one month, and the “yellow-framed bikes” are available in the partial sections of Xiling District, Gaoxin District, Wujiagang District, Yiling District and Dianjun District.
Mobike (Zhijiang city)
Since the mobike was put into the operation in the beginning of April , 1,000 bikes have entered services in Zhijiang city. And the work of constructing 68 recommended parking areas has been accomplished. The average riding time of those bikes is 10 times per day with the maximal riding time of 20 times per day. Zhijiang city is the first county-leveled pilot city of mobike in the whole country.
