The global release conference of “One Belt and One Road” International Film Week was held by Sino-French Cultural Exchange Center on May 27th in Cannes. Deng Chaoyu, one Tujia girl, born in Changyang, was invited to attend the conference, when she came onto the red carpet in Cannes, her Tujia dress attracted the attention of foreign media, and this very dress was designed by her and was made of traditional Xi Lan Ka-pu brocade.

　　"I have always been proud of being a Tujia daughter. It is my inescapable duty to spread Chinese culture and let Tujia culture go abroad. Welcome to China and visit my hometown Yichang!" Deng Chaoyu said at the conference that China was a multi-ethnic country, and Tujia people had distinctive characteristics in language, dress, architecture and arts and crafts.
