From June 10 to 11, the Zhijiang General Aviation Industry Development Seminar and Investment Signing Ceremony of Zhiiang General Aviation Co. Ltd was held in Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Zhijang government will develop general aviation industry together with Tuncang Group and Xingkong Company, which means Zhijiang is to have its first airport.

　　As a highly-supported national strategic emerging industry, general aviation industry has a strong driving effect on regional economy transformation and innovation. Liu Fenglei, Municipal Party Committee Secretary of Zhijiang, said that overall support and services will be offered to the industrial planning, land acquisition and demolition, application for approval, construction and operation and etc to ensure the airport construction and its operation as soon as possible.. Zhijiang will create a new model in general aviation industry together with Tuncang Group and Xingkong Company. Tuncang Group is the leading aviation enterprise in China and another is the authoritative general aviation research and consulting organization in China, marking a kind of demonstration role in regional development and internal industry.

　　Currently, the preliminary work of airport in Zhijiang is in good impetus with finishing company establishment, industrial planning and initial site selection.
