On July 22nd, the First Grape Culture Festival was held in Gaolou Village of Hualinsi town, with the attending of near 500 tourists around Yuan an County.

　　Combined with Gaolou Village’s activities of “Targeted Poverty Alleviation” and "Operas Going to the Countryside", this Festival has fully made use of stage effect to popularize nutritional value of grapes and health care knowledge among audiences, who all spent a happy weekend watching performances, drawing lotteries to win prizes as well as picking and tasting grapes.

　　Urged by the “Targeted Poverty Alleviation” in the whole county, Gaolou Village, a famous ‘fruit village’ in Yuan an, has made great efforts to implement the “one village, one product” strategy, constantly expanding its fruit planting area. At present, it owns more than 700 acres of fruit areas, of which nearly 500 Mu are planted with grapes of 12 species. According to the organizers, this activity aims to promote Gaolou Village’s fruit and tourism resources and help the villagers to get rid of poverty and get rich.
