Yichang exhibition groups became a spotlight at the closing ceremony of the recently closed China's 18th Green Food Expo. Four enterprises from Yichang won the gold award. They are Xinding Biotechnology Co. Ltd, Chexi Farm Products specialized cooperatives, Dengcun Green Tea Co. Ltd and Yulu Tea Co. Ltd. Meanwhile Yichang Municipal Bureau of Agriculture won an award for its best business.

　　Yichang delegations have made good preparations for the green exposition. Under the leadership of Xiong Changquan, Director of the Municipal Bureau of Agriculture, 14 key tea manufacturing enterprises with 119 products labeled “three traits and one sign” (green food, organic food, pollution-free products and agro-product geographical indications) joined the exhibition. Yichang delegations reaped great benefits at the promotion conference for Yichang tea industry on August 19. In additions to signing the contracts of 1,500 tons of tea worth 60.4 million yuan, they achieved 90,000 yuan for on-site tea sales and came to terms with 20 merchants worth 10 million yuan. Xiong Changquan said that Yichang has not only gained its interests and reputation but fully displayed the fruits of “three traits and one sign” at the green exposition, which has effectively boosted the reputation of Yichang’s high quality agro-products and contributed a lot to business negotiations and marketing of Yichang green food industry.
