The landscape lighting of Yichang Zhixi Bridge is to kick off on September 28 and nearly one hundred residents are invited to enjoy the brilliant show when thousands of lights shining together.

　　Our reporter was informed by Yichang Bridge Construction Investment Co, Ltd that the 3.23-kilometer-long Zhixi Yangtze River Bridge has been furnished with more than 10,000 street lights and landscape lights. The main cable, sling and box girders of the Bridge are decorated with white lights and the colored computer –controlled units for main tower of the bridge. The box girders of Sanjiang Bridge will be illuminated with white lights and the main tower, cables of which are decorated with colored computer-controlled units.

　　The night lighting of the bridge adopts daily model and holiday model. The former will reveal the nature beauty of the bridge and the holiday model is designed to create the fantastic festival atmosphere via colored computer-controlled units.

　　Besides, multiple innovative designs and environmental protection concept have been adopted in the lighting system. The night cast lights are adopted to reduce the light pollution. That is, the light ray is projected to the surface of the main component of the bridge, the direction of the projection from the bridge to the sky, which will bring less harm to Chinese sturgeon.
