On Sep 19th, the National Conference of the Comprehensive Management of Social Security was held in Beijing. The Committee for Comprehensive Management of Social Security conferred the “Chang’an Cup” on 112 regions. The Yichang City won the honor again.

　　In May 2013, Yichang firstly won the “Chang’an Cup”. In September 2016, Yichang was selected as one of the 45 demonstration cities under construction in participating in the “Xueliang Program”, a program aiming to mobilize all the mass to take an active role in maintaining social security. The leaders in charge of the program have been invited to share experience with other participants at “Xueliang Program” promotion conferences for three times. For 16 consecutive years Yichang has been honored as one of the “Advanced Units” by Hubei Provincial Government for its effective comprehensive management of social security.

　　“Chang’an Cup” is the highest award for the comprehensive management of social security in China. The requirements for the candidates is very high, because only the city that has been approved as “National Advanced City for The Comprehensive Management of Social Security” for three consecutive sessions (four years as a session) is qualified to complete for the award.(Reporter Qin Yanni, Correspondent Niu Jin)
