During the October Golden Week, Yichang’s tourism departments and scenic spots have provided a series of considerate services to make visitors feel at home. At the Three Gorges Tourist Information Center, more volunteers than usual are present to help visitors with tourism counseling and transportation services. The waiting hall is equipped with cellphone charging sockets, umbrellas, sewing kits, luggage office, drinking water and other convenient facilities. Real-time monitoring system for the Three Gorges Fall, Bailihuang Grassland and other spots (nodes) has already been put into use to monitor the number of tourists. In order to help tourists plan their trips, friendly reminders are publicized via different social networks such as WeChat, Microblog and e-screens. Besides, a large parking lot, 9km away from the Three Gorges Tribe, provides parking space for over 2,000 cars.
