On the afternoon of October 11, the famous Confucian scholar Yu Dan was invited to Zhaojun Village, Xingshan County, to give a talk on “wisdom of China." Yu Dan began her talk with the introduction to the Zhaojun culture and the Qu Yuan culture, and then shared her insights on “wisdom of China” by telling people historical stories in poetic language, fully demonstrating the beauty of ancient Chinese culture, wisdom, and philosophy.

　　"I always have a longing for visiting the hometown of Wang Zhaojun (best known as China’s political bride) as I studied the Chu culture when I was a postgraduate student." Yu Dan's down to earth opening remarks immediately narrowed the distance with the audience. Then, with her considerable classical cultural accomplishments and vivid language, she elaborated on the Jingchu culture and Zhaojun culture from the perspective of the traditional Chinese culture. In addition, Yu Dan told people to learn from ancient wisdom and maintain a peaceful mind when being faced with regrets, losses, and troubles in life.
