On October 14th, the reporter learned from the Municipal Agricultural Machinery Bureau that our city has carried out a series of measures in recent years, which promotes the upgrading of agriculture mechanization level. With the sustainable development, the number of agriculture machinery has reached 2.86 million kilowatt. Besides, the operation level of agriculture machine has significantly enhanced. The aggregation level on the farming and harvesting of crops has reached 67%, 2% higher than the national average.

　　According to Liu Mingdong, the director of Yichang’s Municipal Agricultural Machinery Bureau, the city's main agricultural service is getting stronger. There are nearly 20 professional demonstration cooperatives of national level and provincial level. We have speed up the pace of agriculture machinery science. The development momentum of mechanization in the special industries such as hilly and mountainous areas is thriving.
