The reporter learns from Yichang Agricultural Bureau that Yichang has got a total of 174 green food brands topping Hubei province in total number, quality and speed.

　　Driven by the demonstration models, Yichang is promoting the standardized construction of green food. Since last year, Yichang has built another two national standard demonstration bases of green food raw materials, namely, Yidu mandarin orange base and Wufeng tea base. It has built a total of 12 standardized production demonstration districts of green food including 4 nationals, 2 provincials, 1 municipal and 5 counties with a total scale of 975,000 mu.

　　In recent years, Yichang is committed to cultivating green food brands, leading green development, promoting the quality of agricultural products, developing agricultural efficiency, increasing farmers’ income and improving ecological environment, which has made remarkable achievements. In order to maintain the public trust of green food quality, the government exerts a strict supervision and implementation of annual inspection system. This year, the production quality, control system, production management of 104 certificated products from 52 enterprises have been checked comprehensibly, by 3 inspection teams with the inspectors and supervisors of the city and counties cross checking to make sure of all the products being checked.
