Autumn comes so does the best time for chrysanthemum admiring. It is learned by reporters that the 32nd Chrysanthemum Exhibition of Yichang will be held in Longquan Ancient Town, Yiling District from Oct. 26 to late November and citizens can enjoy the sight for free.

　　More than One Hundred Thousand Pots of Chrysanthemums to Meet You

　　With the theme of “Smelling the fragrance of the wine and chrysanthemum, enjoying the custom of the ancient town”, the sponsor aims to build a Yichang local culture-themed event. There will be four exhibition areas named “Idyllic Poetry”, “Chrysanthemum Dressed Autumn”, “Chrysanthemum with Wine”, “Ancient Shops and Flower Street” with 12 companies to participate.

　　More than one hundred thousand pots of chrysanthemums will be displayed during the exhibition including 13 pieces of reshaping scene, group scene and 124 pieces of chrysanthemum art works, a total of 113 varieties. In addition to the conventional varieties, more than 10 new varieties will showed this year, which are named Streaming Bead Curtain (Shizhangzhulian), Riding Breeze (Changfengwanli), Yellow Crane Tower (Huanghelou) and Gray Pigeons (Huige).

　　During the chrysanthemum exhibition, citizens can fully enjoy a hundred kinds of charming chrysanthemum as well as culture of the ancient town. Moreover, ten activities in four series with poem, wine, flower and tea as their themes respectively will be put forward and these different types of activities will present an amazing culture feast for all tourists.

　　Series of Featured Displaying Make the Chrysanthemum Exhibition All-consuming

　　According to the national 4A level scenic area designing, Longquan Ancient Town of Yiling District, where the chrysanthemum exhibition will be held, is the first domestic “shop culture” themed tourist attraction. During the chrysanthemum exhibition, visitors can not only enjoy chrysanthemum, but also can appreciate the domestic first-class acrobatic circus performance, stilts, dragon-lion dance, waist drum, Cheongsam Fashion Show and other traditional folk culture performances. In addition, Daohuaxiang Group will timely and orderly open the liquor industry park, during the chrysanthemum exhibition, offering visitors a chance to learn stories of the liquor-making techniques.

　　Two Direct Buses Available Except for Self-driving

　　There are two main self-driving routes to Longquan Ancient Town: one starts from the downtown area, passing the Fazhan Road (Shanshuiguoji Community), Dongfang Road, Xiaoya Road, and finally arrives at Longquan Ancient Town; the other one also starts from the downtown area, then passing Yichang East Railway Station, Chendong Road, Dongzhan Road, Dongshan Rd 3, Donglin Road, S107(Wuhan-Yichang), Tuxia Road and finally to the destination Longquan Ancient Town.
