On October 31st, the reporter learnt from the Public Security Bureau of Yichang that it had been improving the service of exit and entry management, promoting service efficiency and optimizing the service environment in order to make it easier and more convenient for people applying for exit and entry related services.

　　It is understood that since May this year, the Public Security Bureau has set up in the Government Affairs Service Center of Yichang Area offices of exit and entry management, assigned staff and equipped facilities. These offices will accept and issue all kinds of exit and entry documents based on the principle of proximity, and provide timely management and friendly services for company employees, the public and foreigners in the Yichang Area.

　　The bureau will improve the registration and recording of foreign-related units and the mechanism of credit rating. There are especially-assigned staffs to provide “one to one” service and “one package” service for foreign high-level personnel of enterprises and public institutions that involve in national key projects (researches) and the key enterprises and projects that are introduced by the province and the city. Services provided include certification application on behalf of applicants, online appointment, “green channel”, etc. The time for applying for visas and residence permits by foreign high-level personnel, their spouses and their minor children is reduced from 7 and15 working days to 3 and 5 working days respectively.

　　The bureau has earnestly implemented the seven exit and entry policies and measures approved by the Ministry of Public Security, one of which is the application of permanent residence by foreign high-level personnel who meet the requirements, their spouses and their minor children on condition that they are recommended by the Administration of China (Hubei) Pilot Free Trade Zone Yichang Area.
