The third Chinese Fruit Brand Conference and China High-Quality Fruit Expo were held in Changsha city, Hunan province from Nov. 1st to 3rd. In 2017, the brand value of Zigui navel orange reached 1.347 billion RMB, Zigui summer orange 103 million RMB, and the Navel orange-peach30 million RMB according the value assessment report conference of Chinese public fruit brands.
It was the third time for the regional public brand value assessment of “Zigui navel orange” since 2012 and 2013. According to the joint assessment by China Fruit Marketing Association and CARD, the brand value of Zigui navel orange reached 798 million RMB compared to 549 million RMB in 2012, with growth of 1.45 times in 5 years( reached 730 million RMB compared to 617 million RMB in 2013, with growth of 1.18 times in 4 years).
Zigui navel orange has been honored the titles of High Quality Products of Ministry of Agriculture, Chinese Famous Fruit, and gained the golden medal on the International Agriculture Fair. In 2006, “Zigui navel orange” successfully registered the collective trademark of the geographical indication in trademark office of the state administration for industry and commerce.
