On November 11th, more than 100 Taiwan compatriots, who participated in Yichang branch venue activities of the 14th "Hubei • Wuhan Taiwan Week", praised the abundant tourism culture resources in Yichang after their inspection tour in the Three Gorges Project and Qu Yuan’s hometown.

　　Taiwan compatriots visited Three Gorges Project Exhibition Centre, Tanziling Scenic Spot and the 185 Platform, learned the history of the Three Gorges Project and felt the grandeur of the Three Gorges Dam. Everyone said with emotion, “It’s a real eye-opener! It’s amazing!” Then they used their mobile phones to take pictures as souvenirs.

　　Subsequently, Taiwan compatriots went to the cross-strait exchange base——Qu Yuan’s Hometown Cultural Park in Zigui. Under the guidance of the guide, everyone reviewed Qu Yuan’s representative poems and felt the patriotism of this great poet. Huang Yankai, a Taiwan compatriot, said that he felt very cordial to be here, even though this was his first visit to Qu Yuan’s hometown and also the first time to Yichang.

　　Xiao Guoqing, the chairman of Taiwan Xiangsheng Group, is a regular visitor to Yichang and the travel agency run by him leads more than 20 tour groups to Yichang every year.
