The reporter learned from the City Public Transport Group that due to the abnormal congestion of Fazhan Avenue from Zhuhai Road to Dalian Road at the morning and evening rush hours, the phenomena of large intervals and the simultaneous appearance of several buses in B68 bus line have been happening very often, thus severely affecting the normal operation of transportation and causing travelling inconvenience to passengers along the route. Meanwhile, several B68 bus stops overlap with B38 bus stops. In order to improve the efficiency of urban public transport operation, the bus group will optimize and adjust the B68 bus line from November 26 onward.

　　The specific adjustments are as follows: B68 bus will start from Meilong Town and to terminal station: Yichangdong Railway Station, passing through Huguang Road, Three Gorges Road, Xiazhou Road, Yixing Avenue, Huangjin Road, Jinfa Road, Fazhan Avenue, Zhuhai Road, Gangyao Road, and Chengdong Avenue. What’s more, 2 another bus stops will be added——Intersection of Zhuhai Road and Fazhan Avenue, and Intersection of Zhuhai Road and Dalian Road. And 4 stops will be canceled——Zhuhai Road Crossing, Yichang Customs, Mobile Communication Building and Jindongshan Building Material Market. In addition, the departure time of the first and last bus and running time of B68 will remain the same and in the meantime the number of bus shifts of B38 will be increased at the morning and evening rush hours, so as to solve the problem of passenger travel to Aqua Plaza and Mobile Communication Building after the adjustment of B68 bus line.
