(Reporter: Zou Yuan; Correspondent: Zou Jiao) On November 26th, the reporter learned from Yichang investigation team of the National Bureau of Statistics that, in October the year-on-year growth of CPI of Yichang City has reached 1.7%, and the circle-increase rate has reached 0.5%, the growth rate of year-on-year growth is 0.6%, compared with year-on-year growth in September. The price rise of health care is the major factor in driving the rise of the total index.

　　Due to continuous rain and cold weather, the growth of vegetables was influenced and the price of fresh vegetables rose 5.1% compared with the prior month. On the one hand, because of the rapid drop in temperature, the consumption demand for mutton gradually increased; on the other hand, in previous years the mutton production reduced and many mutton farmers changed their jobs. Therefore, the market was in short supply and the price of mutton rose significantly, 10.5% higher than last month. What’s more, the prices of marine fish, shrimp and crabs and other aquatic products were all up except the slight price drop of freshwater fish.

　　On October, with new arrival of autumn clothing, the price of clothing climbed 2.3% month on month. Among them, the price of women's coats rose 9 percent, the price of men's jacket and sweater rose 5.8% and 5.6% respectively, and the price of women's shoes and children's shoes rose 1.6%.

　　Owing to the rising prices of labor costs, raw materials (such as solid wood, board, hardware, etc.), warehouse and logistics, the furniture merchants adjusted their product prices, and the furniture prices in October were up 5.2% from the prior month.

　　For the growing travel demands during the long holiday, the prices of air ticket, tourism and hotel were all increased. Among them, comparing with the previous month, air ticket prices rose 12.3%, travel prices were up 7.6%, and hotel accommodation prices increased 6.7%.

　　With the continuous listing of new model of flagship mobile phones from all major brands, the prices of old model mobile phones were cut obviously and the prices of mobile phones in October fell 1.9% month on month.
