The first National Rice-Fish Integrated Planting and Breeding Industry Development Forum and Rice-Fish Integrated Planting and Breeding Model Innovation Competition, and High-quality Fish and Rice Evaluation Activity were held in Shanghai Ocean University, learned from the Yichang Agriculture Bureau on Dec.5. The “Wacang Rice” produced by Wacang Guxiang Ecological Agriculture co. LTD in Yuan County, won the Silver Award for the National High-quality Fish-Rice Evaluation and the Green Ecological Award for the Rice-Fish integrated Planting and Breeding Model Innovation Competition, and was the only award winner for rice and fish breeding in Hubei province.

　　The competition was sponsored by the Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance of China Rice-Fish integrated Planting and Breeding Industry. And it was undertaken by Ministry of Agriculture Fishery Administration Bureau and Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences and other undertaker. 88 Rice-Fish integrated panting and breeding enterprises from 20 provinces in China and nearly 100 rice products participated in the competition.
