(Dec 8th) According to the Yichang Municipal Office of State Administration of Taxation(SAT), at the end of November, the export tax rebates handled by the Office for the city's export enterprises have increased by 34.7% when compared with the same period of last year, with the total amount of tax refund (exemption) reaching a record high of 1.018 billion yuan.

　　It is learned that in terms of export commodities, our city's main export products are chemical products, formed foil, medical supplies and cosmetics, which account for 75% of the total.

　　According to the relevant analysis, three kinds of products, namely, electronic products, textile products, and medical supplies, help realize the significant increase of export tax refund (exemption), with a year-on-year growth of about 50 million yuan respectively. The export enterprises, such as HKC Technology, Ji Sheng Weaving and Dyeing Corporation and Allmed Medical, have obtained total revenue of 310.58 million dollars by exporting monitors, cotton cloths and first aid kits this year, witnessing an increase of 98% over the same period of the previous year and a corresponding tax rebate amounting to 182.7 million yuan.

　　It is learnt that this year, multiple measures have been taken to accelerate the foreign trade and export-oriented economic development of the city. In order to fully implement the export refund (exemption) tax policy, the city has been the first within the province to provide coordinated online services for helping export enterprises to go through the procedure and get the export tax refund (exemption) within one day, which can effectively reduce the operating costs of the enterprises. Other measures include: further streamline administration and cut the red tape in the application process. Thanks to those measures, tax refund processing efficiency has been significantly improved.
