They left their aged parents behind. ” On December 8th, the movie “Wedding Lament”, which integrates unique Tujia traditional marriage custom, beautiful scenery and moving revolutionary stories, has debut in its shooting place Changyang. Yichang’s minister of Publicity, as well as member of the standing committee, Wang Guobin, the film producer Zhang Yipin and the executive producer Zhang Zongyi attended the debut.

　　Set in 1929 when the Red Army fought fiercely against Kuomintang Reactionaries in Ziqu in Changyang County, in this movie the main line is that a bride from Tujia nationality sacrifices herself under another name to save a Han Red Army woman soldier. Making family wedding lament as the spot, it indicates that Tujia people volunteer to follow the path of our party against the Kuomintang revolutionaries, which adds new meanings to the national traditions.

　　“Weeding Lament” was co-written by famous writers such as Zhang Daoqing, and co-produced by Yichang Three Gorges Radio and Television, Hubei literary federation, Yichang Qiye Media Limited Company, Wuhan Zhongyi Film Studio and Cahngyang Tujia Autonomous County. It takes two years from its plot to release. And this film has photographed key scenarios like picking up bride, ten sisters lamenting for the wedding, Kuomintang revolutionaries striking Machi Ancient Village, dancing with Tujia’s traditional songs, sending Tian’s daughter to the Tan’s family, the Red Army breakout battle in Ziqu Ancient Town, Shaziling Mountain encountering in Machi Ancient Village of Duzhenwan town, Xiwan Village, Yanzhan Stream Watershed and along Qingjiang River.
