(Reporter: Tian Dongming; correspondent: Gong Wanbo & Chen Zan)On December 12th, based on the online public recommendation, and on-the-spot inspection made by the Municipal Committee of Urban Management, the second batch of “Fallen Leaves-Not-Swept” landscape roads have been released, which include Urban Square Road, Xiba Road, and Tongqiang Road.
On December 3rd, the Municipal Committee of Urban Management and the Municipal Gardening and Greening Bureau jointly issued the first thirteen “Fallen Leaves Not Swept” landscape roads of the city, including seven roads and eight streets in the urban area. Meanwhile, the Municipal Committee of Urban Management has solicited pubic opinions on “The recommendation of Yichang fallen leaves landscape roads” through the WeChat official accounts such as “Three Gorges Daily” and “Yichang City Management”.
It is estimated that until yesterday, the number of clicks of the “China Trumpet” WeChat official account exceeded ten thousand. The number of clicks of other WeChat official accounts, including “China Construction”, “Hubei Daily”, “Yichang Announcement”, “Three Gorges Daily” and “Yichang City Management”, reached more than thirty thousand. The pubic have also made frequent retweets about the landscape roads in their WeChat Moments, unanimously giving two thumps-up to this pilot project of “Fallen Leaves-Not-Swept” landscape roads.
Based on the good response from the public in the first stage, the Municipal Committee of Urban Management has designated another three “Fallen Leaves-Not-Swept” as landscape roads, which include Square Road, Xiba Road, and Tongqiang Road. Thus the total number of the Fallen Leaves-Not-Swept” landscape roads in our city has reached ten. The new three landscape roads are the best places to view the fallen Platane leaves. In the middle of winter, as the leaves of ginkgo and the colorful Platane gradually fade, fall from the trees, and fly in the wind, they present the most beautiful scenery as if fairies are spreading flowers.
It is reported that the Municipal Committee of Urban Management will adhere to the people-centered concept, strengthen refined management and gradually build more landscape roads.
