With the New Year’s Day approaching, Yuan’an County’s second rural Spring Festival shopping carnival enters an intense preparatory stage and will start on December 30th, 2017.

　　The carnival will be held in the beautiful Three Gorges Water Village Scenic Area, with the theme of the flavor of the Spring Festival. By experiencing such activities as killing pigs, drinking Wang soup (a kind of blessing soup), shopping, having pork feast and watching unique folk customs, visitors can enjoy the strong atmosphere of the Spring Festival there, the beautiful scenery, rich farm products as well as the warm and honest folk customs of the local villagers. The carnival is to last for 9 days, and a poverty alleviation auction and voluntary donation will be held on the day of the opening ceremony, so that the villagers can truly benefit from the development of the tourism.
