On December 30th 2017, Niu Lang Mountain Cattle Industry Townlet, Yichang’s only featured town theming cattle so far, opened in Xiangxiang Village, Xiannv Town, and Zhijiang City. On the very day, more than one thousand tourists from Yichang and other places within the province came here to have all-cattle feast, barbecue and participate in parent-child interest development activity, watch theatrical performances and visit the modern cattle breeding base.

　　Founded by the Hubei Fenglianjiawo Agricultural Development Co., Ltd., the townlet bases on beef cattle husbandry, and takes up as sidelines food processing, themed restaurant and pastoral scenery tourism, and has been built into a tourist village featuring animal husbandry, agriculture and culture. In 2018, it will launch bullfighting and build a cattle-themed culture park.

　　Zhu Huamin, Party secretary of Xiannv Town, said that the township will give full support to the construction of the townlet so that it can play a leading role in industrial development, inspiring migrant workers to return home for employment and entrepreneurship, inheriting intangible cultural heritage and constructing beautiful countryside, and in revitalizing rural industries.
