At 2:10pm on January 3rd, with Hainan Airlines HU7206 successfully landed in Three Gorges Airport, the round-trip flight from Dalian to Yichang has been successfully launched.

　　It is learned that in October 2016, in the event of “2016 National Symposium and Contract Signing Ceremony of Partner Assistance of Ecological Industry Cooperation and Development in Three Gorges Reservoir Area”, Dalian City and Xingshan County signed the Dalian and Xingshan Tourism Cooperation Framework Agreement, with the opening of direct flights from Dalian to Yichang being an important part of cooperation. Through the jointed efforts of Dalian Municipal Government, Yichang Municipal Government，XingshanCounty Government, flight from Dalian to Yichang has been officially available.

　　Liu Jianjun, a high-level official from Dalian, and Yang Silong, the vice mayor of Xingshan County, and other relevant department heads have attended the inaugural ceremony.

　　Liu Jianjun said that the first flight from Dalian to Yichang has embodied the sincere cooperation between the two governments and airlines, marking a breakthrough for the two governments to promote aviation cooperation. The opening of the flight will further promote the partner assistance of Dalian for Xingshan, and enhance the overall development of Xingshan County.

　　Cao Hongwei said that the first flight embodies jointed efforts of many people who have been concerned about economic and social development of Xingshan County. Both Dalian and Xingshan have differences and complementarities. In the future, Xingshan will make full use of flight resources, seize the opportunity to develop tourism, build a quality service platform and organize tourists and passengers, so to make a golden route for tourism and facilitate the mutually-beneficial and win-win cooperation of two cities.(Correspondent: He Junyi, and Xia Yu)
