On January 7th, Lin Shunhui, party secretary and president of the Hubei Branch of CCB, visited Yichang with all the staff that were in Hubei and worked in the integrated financial services of CCB, and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Yichang. In the next three years, the Hubei Branch of CCB will provide an integrated intentionality-oriented financing of no less than 60 billion yuan for Yichang, facilitating its industrial transformation and upgrading and supporting the real economy. Zhou Ji, secretary of Yichang Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Zhang Jiasheng, deputy secretary of Yichang Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and mayor of Yichang, attended the signing ceremony and delivered speeches.

　　Zhou Ji expressed his gratitude to Hubei Branch of CCB for its substantial support to the economic and social development of Yichang over a very long period of time. He said that the Hubei Branch of CCB had attached great importance to cooperation with Yichang in the past year and made positive contributions in various aspects, such as industrial transformation and targeted poverty alleviation, reflecting a high sense of social responsibility and strong historical responsibility of big state-owned banks. At present, guided by President Xi’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and abiding by the deployment of the provincial government, Yichang is emphasizing not only the extension of traditional industries but also the cultivation of new industries in an effort to achieve higher quality development and to accelerate the construction of the regional central city in the middle and upper reaches of Yangtze River. He hoped that the two sides would take this signing of agreement as an opportunity to join hands in the new era, get a new look and achieve new accomplishments. Yichang would further strengthen the construction of its credit system to create a good financial environment for the development of Hubei Branch of CCB in Yichang and score more successes of cooperation between the two sides.

　　Zhang Jiasheng stressed that this visit of Hubei Branch of CCB had reflected the sincerity and determination of deepening cooperation between the two sides as it was made by the best lineup and was at the end of Yichang’s People’s Congress and Yichang’s CPPCC. In 2017, the balance of deposits and loan balance of Yichang ranked first among cities of the same class in Hubei province. Yichang was among the optimum array of financial ecological environment in Hubei. The insurance premium of Yichang exceeded 100 billion yuan for the first time, and the financial industry in Yichang achieved a balanced and healthy development. All these achievements were inseparable from the strong support given by the Hubei Branch of CCB. It was hoped that the two sides would accelerate the implementation of the strategic cooperation agreement and give a full play to the benefit of cooperation as soon as possible. Yichang would firmly adhere to a win-win cooperation concept, implement the provisions of the agreement, continue to improve regional financial ecological environment and create a new win-win prospect for cooperation between the government and the banks.

He said that the Hubei Branch of CCB had strengthened its confidence to invest in Yichang since Yichang Municipal Committee of CPC and Yichang government had thoroughly implemented the new development concept, made unwavering efforts to fight the three major battles(prevention and settlement of major risks, targeted poverty alleviation and prevention and treatment of pollution), and scored great achievements in various aspects such as industrial transformation and ecological protection in the past year. At the beginning of the new year and the end of the Yichang People’s Congress and Yichang’s CPPCC, the two sides signed a strategic cooperation agreement, opening a new horizon of cooperation. The Hubei Branch of CCB would amplify its support to Yichang, work hard and move forward to achieve a complete success of cooperation between the two sides.

When the Hubei Branch of CCB signed the strategic cooperation agreement with Yichang government, Wuhan subsidiaries of CCB and the Three Gorges Branch of CCB signed agreements with local related enterprises.

　　According to the cooperation agreement, in the next three years, the Hubei Branch of CCB will provide an integrated intentionality-oriented financing of no less than 60 billion yuan for key construction projects, key enterprises, livelihood projects, schools, hospitals, investment introduction, inclusive finance, targeted poverty alleviation, manufacturing of automobiles and spare parts, the aviation industrial park and other main market entities.
