The first 8 key projects kicked off on the same day at Yichang High-tech Zone (part of Free Trade Zone) on January 8th, the total investment of which amounts to 2.2 billion RMB.

　　The 8 projects, including Tianji TCM Tablets and Decoction, Chunhua TCM, Zhongneng Dongri Distributed Energy Station and Three Gorges Modern Logistics Information Center, etc., are of bio-pharmaceutical production, high-end equipment manufacturing, utilization of environmental-friendly energy, research and development of agricultural science and technology as well as Internet plus logistics and so on, which are all strategic emerging industries superiorly supported by the state and may play a great steering role with growth potential. These projects would exert a positive and far-reaching impact on the industrial transformation and upgrading of the High-tech Zone and even the whole city.

　　“It took only a week for the High-tech Zone to complete site formation and have all ancillary construction of water and electricity supply and road in place, now it’s time to start construction! ” Chen Pei, General Manager of Hubei Tianji Chinese Herbal Sliced Medicine Co., Ltd, exclaimed that High-tech Zone did satisfy the entrepreneurs with efficient services.

　　Wang Yunxi, Director of High-tech Zone Construction Management Office, said that the High-tech Zone set about tackling the project-related issues on the first work day of 2018, and screened to find out 47 problems that might bring obstacles to the commencement of projects construction, proposing the solution to each of the problems. Tasks assigned, each department instantly took action to cope with site formation, water and electricity supply and demolition within a week, preparing for commencement of construction of the 8 projects on the same day.
